James Thompson

James is an improviser and stage actor with over 20 years experience in musical performance.  He is thrilled to be a cast member for Hit and Run, and getting to create memorable and hilarious stories on stage.  He has previously performed with Vintage Theatre, The Aurora Fox, Littleton Town Hall Arts Center, and Lost and Found Productions, among many others.

He studied improv at Second City, Bovine Metropolis, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and Rise Comedy.  He was a member of the Rise House Team program, as well as a guest member of Streaky Bacon at What If Theatre, where he has performed and directed improvised Star Trek episodes, YA Dystopian novels, and alternate versions of A Christmas Carol!
