Thompson Powers

Thompson Powers is a Denver-based clown, comedian, puppeteer, and producer. Before joining Hit & Run: Musical Improv a decade ago, Thompson appeared in nearly 100 professional musicals across 31 states. Locally, their work has been seen at Denver International Airport, Denver Zoo, and Denver Fringe (2026 Audience Choice Award Winner).

In addition to bringing aliens to life for Meow Wolf and dinosaurs into existence for Jurassic World, he was recently the Resident Director of Entertainment responsible for the reopening of the world-famous Casa Bonita.
